Something Fishy - or A Taste Sensation!


 "What makes something ART?" Something I struggle with. Is it any good? Do I like it? But is it Art? I guess if I made it with any intent at all it must fit somewhere on the scale of what is called art. As to its value as art, or if it's any good, maybe that is irrelevant. Something I find appealing might give someone else the screaming habdabs! I think it is largely a matter of taste when it comes down to it.

A Challenge for 2010 - January 1st 2010

Blue Moon Dreaming

2009 ends with a blue moon, which is also the 13th full moon of the year. It seems like a good excuse to start 2010 with a new intention - that is to say I would like to attempt to make a picture for every single day of this year! A large ambition for someone who tends to be easily distracted, darting from one field of inspiration to another, and back again, but I figure that if I embrace all of the areas I enjoy creating in and don't allow myself to feel as if I have somehow failed if I change my media frequently, there is opportunity to cover some serious ground over the next year!

Be prepared for the layout of this blog to change too, I haven't applied myself to create the whole thing in one go so it will be a moveable feast at this point. It seemed as if the most important thing was to START!
